DESCRIPTION:ARIDO and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) are partnering again at the Interior Design Show (IDS) Toronto 2025\, featuring the ARIDO + IDC Stage. Focusing on the Intern Competency Review System (ICRS)\, a distinctive pathway for experienced professionals aspiring to join ARIDO\, the panel features ARIDO Members who have successfully navigated this route. A unique opportunity for students and interns to connect directly with Registered Members for valuable portfolio reviews and mentorship. \n\nFriday\, January 24\nPanel: Examination Alternative Project (EAP) – An Introduction to Equity-Centered Assessment for Interior Design\n12:00 pm-1:00pm\nARIDO+IDC Stage\nIn January 2023\, ARIDO launched the Examination Alternative Project (EAP)\, the final development project in ARIDO’s 10-year journey of competency assessment development. Implications of these trends on the diversity of housing options and furnishings solutions that are required to meet the huge need will be discussed by our healthcare and senior living design knowledge experts. \nPresenters\nSara Marberry; Marketing Consultant\, Writer\, Speaker\, Blogger; Sara Marberry\, LLC \nSara Marberry is a nationally known healthcare and senior living design knowledge expert. A leading advocate for how the design of the physical environment can positively affect outcomes\, she frequently speaks and writes about current trends and issues. \nSara brings her healthcare and senior living design expertise to the marketing work she does with product manufacturers\, nonprofit organizations\, and design firms.
