DESCRIPTION:During this one hour webinar\, you will develop an overview of primary egress and fire protection requirements\, based on the 2015 National Building Code of Canada (NBC) and the 2012 Ontario Building Code (OBC). Familiarize yourself with the common application requirements for multiple tenant floor areas focusing on office occupancies\, as well as pertinent definitions of NBC terms. Brush up your knowledge of fire separations\, public corridors\, suite egress\, travel distance\, cross-over provisions\, mag-locks\, and barrier-free protection on floor areas. \nPresenter: Lisa Miller-Way\, LRI Engineering Inc. \nLisa Miller-Way is the Director\, Project Management with LRI –the largest wholly-Canadian owned engineering firm specializing exclusively in fire protection engineering\, building and fire code consulting\, and emergency planning services.
