Attendees will gain awareness of the types of exposure they face as design professionals. Understanding the exposures and proper risk management techniques will enable members to exercise better business practices in order to minimize the risk of experiencing claims\, and the resulting damage to their reputation and business operations. PROLINK was appointed as the manager of the IDC professional liability insurance program in 2012. \nPRESENTER: Derrick Leue\, President of PROLINK Ltd. \nDerrick is a registered insurance broker with an Honours’ Bachelors of Commerce degree from McMaster University. Derrick’s experience in business development\, risk management\, and national association account management has helped develop PROLINK into a national leader in managing professional association affinity insurance programs. Derrick’s risk management expertise is focused on business owners and professional service providers.
